Joba's history of arm problems is real and that's all that matters. Scouts agree that he is best suited for the bullpen because of that fact. Mark Prior had tendinitis too.
Jeter's defense might have been good for him but not good. His defense is very suspect.
Don't hold your breath on Pettitte returning to form. The defense isn't any better and he is a year older. Yankees are better off saving their money and getting someone better.
I already said Sheets would be a risk and the Yankees already have too many of them. The Yankees have improved with Sabathia but it isn't enough. I'm not too worried about Pettitte making all his starts. I am more worried about his performance in those 30+ starts.
