Yankee Stadiums Last Night

They're tearing it down because it's been in use since 1923. It's actually been one of the longest tenured stadiums in history. It deserves a replacement. All good things must come to an end. I hate when teams use a stadium for like 15 years and then replace it. This stadium needs a replacement, it's kind of a piece of crap now. But you can't replace the memories

I'm surprised it's taken this long to replace it but I'm not a Yankees fan.

You guys do realize they completely renovated the Stadium after the '73 season, right? It's on the same grounds but it's really a completely different Stadium than the original. The sadness comes more form moving the location than the Stadiumk itself though for me it's both since that's the only Stadium I have ever known and I have so many great memories there. It's a sad day for all of baseball that the greatest Stadium in the history of modern sports will be torn down.

I cant believe they didn't honor or do anything in the video footage about what Clemens did with Yankees, thats just ****ing classless.
