    Trade Yankees swap minor leaguers

    Yankees trade SS Alberto Gonzalez to the Nationals for minor league pitcher Jhonny Nunez.

    Nunez is clearly a friend of fellow-h'er Jhonny Peralta.

    I'm not so sure of the motivation for this trade, because I liked Gonzalez. But we shall see, idk anything about Nunez.

    Yankees have done a lot this trade season while the Rays did nothing. Interesting to see how all of this plays out. Losing two of three to the O's isn't a good start.

    I'll be honest, I think the Yanks #1 priority should have been to get another starter. Because Rasner and Ponson aren't going to get us anywhere. They're ok, but just plugs. We need at least one regular. And they didn't do that. So we'll see.
