Jeter got his 2,416th career hit as a Yankee tonight, in the process moving him past Mickey Mantle for third most in Yankees history. Lou Gehrig leads with 2,721 and Babe Ruth is second with 2,518.

Jeter has been an aamzing player throughout his career and when you pass Mantle and are headed for Ruth in any category it's pretty special. As long as he stays healthy he'll be the Yanks all-time hit leader at some point.
