The thing is there are many players on major league teams right now that have ERA's higher than Maroth. That is sad.

Ugh. I don't see how if Kennedy and Hughes are doing so bad, how the team expects Rasner and Karstens to do any better. But whatever, it was necessary. He needed to be sent a message, and he needs to work on some stuff. He'll be back later in the year, but for now, this was the right move.

These guys have more experience, they won't be better ptichers in the long run but in the short term I think they'll be better and that showed yesterday already. I have liked both of these guys since they came up 2 years ago. They could fill out a rotation. W/ Kennedy and Hughes it's about good health and confidence, Kennedey needs confidence and Hughes needs both. I am confident both will be fine but who knows what they'll do in the 2nd half?
