At this point, I would love to get Clemens out of the Astros debacle and give him the opportunity to win. The Astros need young stars and they will not win this year.

The one issue that I have is that why is it ONLY the Yankees? I know that is what Roger said he wants but how are we so sure he is not "playing" the Yankees to go back to beantown? This would not be the first time a player of his caliber has been in this situation and if you remember, Beltran said he wanted to go to the Yankees. The Yankees have less to offer in the sweepstakes but will probably land him considering whoever takes him has to take on his salary.
