The Yankees' prized prospect is expected to miss four to six weeks, a sour end to an otherwise encouraging night for the last-place club. New York responded to criticism from owner George Steinbrenner in a big way Tuesday with a 10-1 rout of the Texas Rangers.

After such a great start I hope that he recovers quickly.

It's unbelievable, what else will go wrong? One minute we re wathching this kid throw a potential no-hitter and the next he's gone until mid June.

Yeah, I know. It was so fun to watch him dominate as well. We can only hope that he is gone longer for precautionary matters and then he comes back solid.

I can't even begin to tell you how ****ing mad I am at this.

I guess I'll have to play devil's advocate and say, just for arguments sake, it may not be the worst thing in the world. He'll come back fresh at the all-star break without any innings limitations whereas if he stayed in the bigs for the whole season, he'd most assuredly be gassed by the playoffs.

But, of course, I'm selfish and would've liked to see him for 30 starts.
