    Well Yankee faithful, we did it finally a clean sweep of the week 6-0. We are only 1 game below .500 at 18-19 and 5.5 games out of first place.

    What a difference a week makes.

    Sunday
    We beat Oakland 6-0 behind a suprising performance by Brown 7 IP 5 Hits 1 BB and no runs.
    Homeruns by ARod, Tino and Jorge.

    Monday
    We beat Seattle 4-3 behind Randy Johnson's 8 IP and 3 runs allowed. Rivera picked up the save. A Homerun by Tino and a good piece of small ball in the ieght of manufacturing a run. Jeter bunted the runner over.

    Tuesday
    We beat Seattle 7-4 behind suprising rookie Wang 7.1 IP 3 runs allowed. Rivera also got a save here. Tino hit another homerun.

    Wednesday
    We wona slugfest vs Seattle 13-9. Pavano was not sharp as he pitched 4 innings giving up 10 hits and 9 runs 5 earned. The pen with Quantrill, Sturtze and Gordon held the M's in check. Tino, Jeter, Sheffield and Jorge went yard.

    Thursday Off

    Friday
    We beat Oakland 9-4 behind Moose 7 IP 2 runs. Sheffield hit a HR. Tino had his consecutive HR streak snapped.

    Saturday
    We beat Oakland 15-6 behinda decent performance by Brown 6 IP 5 runs but only 3 earned. Homeruns by ARod, Jeter, Tino and Posada.

    No transactions this week but Sierra is getting ready for his rehab assignment. He could be big for us if Giambi and even Bernie do not start swinging a better bat.

    Outlook

    We are on a 7 game win streak. We have 1 vs Oakland then 3 vs Seattle then 2 vs the Mets for this week. I am hoping for a 4-2 record if not better for the week.

    We have got to get Giambi out of the lineup and off of this team.
