Bringing Mussina back was a good move. Meche might be all right, but the Yankees need to bring Hughes up to see what he can do. Tyler Clippard may be a year away though, so the Yankees need to bring in at least one additional starter.
They could use a lefty, so how about this trade -- ARod to the Twins for Johan Santana, with King George paying all of both players' salaries?

I am so thrilled. 2 more years of underachieving Mike Mussina. Mr. 100 pitches through 5 innings, nit-picky, 3 and 2 count, unwatchable game Mike Mussina. Just great. Nice signing. 2 straight years of elbow problems in the second half of the season doesn't tell ya something ?
