I can't believe it's been 5 years already .
I can't either. I was in 10th grade when it happened. Time just flies by.
"For someone who was never meant for this world, I must confess I'm suddenly having a hard time leaving it. Of course, they say every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. Maybe I'm not leaving... maybe I'm going home."
Yea, I was a freshman when it happened, I still remember where I was when I was told. I didn't believe a plane had actually crashed into the building until I saw it on TV, and I was watching it on the news when the towers went down. It was basically chaotic at my school because pretty much everybody's parents worked in New York City, and a few of them were actually in the towers, so it hit home pretty hard.
It really is hard to believe it's been 5 years, it's amazing how you just move on with your life after that time.
I was in downtown Manhattan and saw the Towers burning from my school. Its a very sad day in American history, a day we should never forget.
