    Heredia busted

    New York Mets pitcher Felix Heredia has been suspended 10 days for violating baseball's drug policy.

    The left-handed reliever appeared in three games last season. He was placed on the disabled list April 19 with a strained left thumb.

    Heredia, who is with his sixth team, has a career record of 28-19 with six saves and a 4.42 ERA in 511 games.

    His suspension will begin with the start of the 2006 season.

    Pretty pathetic when you get busted for roids in a season where you appear in 3 games.

    They helped him go from "I'm a detriment to the team" to "At least my roster spot is occupied by someone else now".
