    Mets acquire A.J. Ramos from Marlins

    Mets sent prospects Merandy Gonzalez and Ricardo "Not Yoenis" Cespedes to the Marlins.

    Mets are selling Addison Reed, so they felt they needed to acquire his replacement? It seems more logical to me to hoard your prospects until you're one or two bullpen arms from competing and then do the deal.
