First Two games were great ones for Mets fans.

Game 1: Mets played awesome Defense all round with some spectacular plays by Floyd, Beltran, Cameron, Wright and Anderson. Pedro had a shaky first inning but then really settled down. THe Mets won 6-4 with help from a Carlos Beltran HR, and sloppy D by the Yanks.

Game 2: Yesterday the Mets struck early off rookie Sean Henn. Mike Cameron drew a 4 pitch walk and then 3 batters later Cliff Floyd hit an absolute mammoth shot deep into the upperdeck. In the second David Wright put one out in the short porch in RF. Glavine was shakey the first innings, but found his grove in the latter part of his start. In the 5th Floyd hit another HR; his 20th of the year. The Mets went on to win 10-3.

Mets have a shot to sweep Sunday night and win the season series
