    Free Agent Mets Frontrunners for Ken Takahashi

    According to "the premiere source for Japanese Baseball Player Free Agency", Ken Takahashi is being pursued by at least 10 teams, and the Mets are the frontrunners. Takahashi is a 39 year old reliever, who has decent numbers in Japan. Not sure how good he really is....

    Well, the lack of interest in the remaining starters will bring down the asking price of Ollie Perez, as well as most of the FA left. I have confidence that Minaya will sign at least one good SP....I just don't know when.
