I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I get it now. Since I'm one of the the only Mets fans on the forum, the majority of my posts have to be taken off topic by you guys, right?
And a blown save by Wagner kills Pelfrey's best game all year. The Mets will try to win it in the bottom of the ninth, but with all momentum gone.
Wagner does it again!
Ugh. I'm fuming right now. Wagner has been fantastic all year, and now he chooses to die? And Aaron Heilman couldn't resist the urge to break this team's back. The fans tried to stay in it, but this team just seems to find a way to blow it. Very frustrating, especially after the rally to win yesterday's game
I wish we had franchised him
looks like Willie is on his last legs again. think he can save his job?

Only Minaya can save his job with a trade. Not Willie's fault Wagner has blown three games in a row.
It's no ones fault that Wags hit a rough stretch. He's pitched in like 5 of 7 games in extreme heat, and is probably going through a slight dead arm period. Willie can only save his job if we beat the Rangers and Angels in consecutive series...and even then it's probably only until the All-Star Break that he'd be safe. HoJo may as well be gone, and Willie will be too. HoJo has been awful, and is definitely the first guy that will go. I've been a Willie supporter all along, and I still don't blame him one bit, but it's time for him to go. He's a good manager if he's given the right team, and he hasn't been. He will prove himself somewhere else, and look like another Larry Brown from the Knicks or Art Howe...The other rumor I heard is Rick Peterson, which is stupid. He made John Maine into a 2 starter, he has made slight improvement on Perez, and is still working, and he has made Pelfrey into a solid pitcher. The bullpen isn't his fault, Heilman sucks and Duaner isn't really 100%. The Mets are in deep shit, and unless they pull of something ridiculous (read: don't send out the same lineup exculding injuries for the 3058972nd straight game), they're gonna be in even more trouble over the coming 2 weeks of tough games.
