    Lugo, the second former Rays reliever the Mets have picked up this winter, had a 4.30 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP in 37 2/3 innings for the A's last season. Overall, he has a 4.39 ERA and an 82/73 K/BB ratio in 133 1/3 innings over the last two years. He's just more middle relief fodder.
    Since he has been in the AL I haven't heard of him but the Mets are trying to better their bullpen.

    He is Julio Lugo's cousin. We once traded him to Houston for "Fatbag Daryle" Ward.

    Depth in the bullpen can't hurt, eh? You saw what happened last year. If this guy can pitch at a mediocre level, he can come to camp
