They won't get Zito anytime soon.
Zito is the big name that most teams will target by the deadline. So they big stud will have to be bigger than any other stud offered. This could get very interesting. But I bet the Mets go real big if they have to as it is obvious they went all out in the off season and don't want that to go to waste.
I really hope not.

The Mets honestly should go after Clemens. They have the $$, a good team, and a need in the rotation. It's a perfect fit.
except every Mets fan in the world hates Clemens and he would probably get murdered on his homefield in his first start.
