As of right now the role the TC plays in passing trades will be greatly diminished.
It's not completely going away, but for the most part everything should go.
I'm going to set up a subforum (probably have the trade voting forum renamed) where GMs can submit agreed upon trades and confrim them if someone else posted the thread (So post them there instead of PMing them to me).
The way it's going to work is there will be a 12 hour deadline prior to the next sim in order for your trade to be reflected in that sim. This allows the TC a window to protest in the TC forum where we've been voting on them. If I agree with any arguments made by them in any conversation I may nix the deal, but the idea here is to make it a lot more leniant, but still allow a forum to deter overly and obviously lopsided deals.
Should we get any OOTP newbies in the future all deals involving them would likely be worked out in the TC the way it has been, but I don't think any currently active GM falls in that criteria.
The tl;dr version of this is here are the two things you need to know
- Submit trades in the "Submit Trades Here" forum
- The trade is not official until it's agreed upon by all parties in the posted thread and I post the accompanied thread in the "MSL Transactions" forum.
