    Padres 2057 World Series Champions



    SAN DIEGO PADRES

    Two rebuilding efforts collide as the Padres and Royals met in the World Series. The Padres prevail to simultaneously end two droughts: MSL NL World Series winners and my lack of a WS victory in this league entirely.

    Congratulations to Trendy on a tremendous rebuilding effort as well. The Royals should continue to be a force in the future.

    Cy Young wouldn't have been ready for the series, btw. He's still listed as out for 6 more days so it must have been rounding down with the 1 week.

    Sounds about right. Injuries were a dragging out all season long.

    Don't think it would have made much of a difference anyway. Your staff mowed down the #1 team in runs scored.

    I used to think it was Prov I always had to meet in the playoffs in OOTP but I'm starting to think it's the Cardinals.

    Although I managed to do both in this season.

    I need to upgrade this offense. I love my pitching staff. It wasn't their fault they lost.
