Movie Pick 'Ems: The Calm Before the Storm

So, this week kinda sucks. You have a found footage SCI-FI movie (Project Almanac) battling a remake starring Jason Statham (Wildcard). Of course, I love Statham movies, but I've not seen any trailers so I'm sure it will go the way of Blackhat and Mortdecai.

That said, we are keeping it simple this week, only because we hit our week 10 mark THUS, there will be twists next week. Stay tuned for that.


This week, you are projecting the amount of money American Sniper will make in its 3rd weekend of wide release. As you know by now, it has grossed over 200 million and lack of competition has surely helped to NOT slow it down.

MLKjr weekend, it took in over 100 million. This past weekend, it ran away with over 64 million. What awaits in week 3?
