Fairly interesting movie opening, certainly more appeal than last week's... Batman and Jesse Pinkman team up to take on an Australian..errr..King Ramses. It's a popcorn type flick in December, helmed by Ridley Scott. While there is no Russell Crowe, there is Christian Bale. Cast also includes Aaron Paul, Joel Edgerton, Ben Kingsley, John Turturro, and Sigourney Weaver. That has appeal to make it a potential blockbuster. But at the same time, it has significant factors working against it: a biblical epic tends to draw the ire of Christians (and this one has been oozing controversy), mediocre reviews from its overseas openings, and it's a non Transformers, Batman, or LotR/Hobbit movie that's two and a half hours long.
As far as I know it's PG-13, so that helps it.
This week, pick which place it'll finish. Voting ends midnight Sunday (EST)
