Movie Pick 'Ems: Test Week

This week, you will be predicting where Dumb and Dumber To will place after this weekend in the United States. Normally, I will give you a quick run down of a new movie to give you an idea of things. But not much needs to be said about this sequel to a film 20 years ago.

Normally I will list the main cast, movie rating, total number theatres it's opening too, and a short synopsis.

It's pretty self explanatory, not really hard, and Shitloon takes this game seriously, so go out and break his soul.


In terms of competition, there is another fairly wide release called Beyond the Lights (which seems to reek of an unofficial Rihanna film without Rihanna. Big Hero 6 and Interstellar both grossed over 50 mill last week when they opened. And Gone Girl, still lingers based on great word of mouth and reviews.

The trailers have looked so awful. They should have done a sequel in 96 or so when Carrey still mattered. It just looks horrendous now compared to successful "smart" comedies.

I think the nostalgia will keep it in the top 3. I can't vote until I see the holdover numbers for Big Hero and Interstellar, though. That's my problem right now.

You're right about the trailer, it looks awful...but then again, it's not the first movie was cinematic genius or anything, though.

Eh, I really liked it.

I think the only people who won't enjoy it are those who probably didn't enjoy the first one either.

It did start off kind of slow, though, but once it got going it was very funny.
