Its been a long time since I looked at 8. Many PCs ago. For some reason I think it wasn't that popular do to the format that it produced for the website. Which Really is 6.5s better feature for me. Though It may be better for individual uploading.

I remember not liking it because I got lost in the menus. But I also didn’t invest much time in it.

I want to say that may be the case. It's free, so it may be a side project.

I'll be doing a mass opening, and they're already open, so odds are you'll end up with them. I'll worry about that once we move. I created a couple of new forums, Leo has talked to Mission, so now Leo and I just need to re-crate certain threads. It would be wise to start migrating I suppose.

I've copied most of the mechanical stuff over. I put Leo on History duty (Leo, your new official title is MSL Historian), and I'm looking at a couple other threads since I will likely be changing some of how that works. I've also opened up more than a few teams though nothing is happening yet.

One note you may see: I've moved Arizona to Montreal and Montreal back to Miami. I also re-aligned a bit to match real life as a result. Though depending on what transpires next with new GMs and movement there could be some more adjustments.

While working on this conversion, I'm curious how everyone would feel going from 6.5 to 8. The idea being 8 is completely free and thus everyone could do uploads and downloads. Not married to the idea in the least, but wanted to throw it out there.

I don't mind seeing the league get taken over to Mach's new website but I would hate to see BS get shut down entirely. I have talked about starting another sim league for a long time and I would still like to do that. I imagine that would help keep BS around with the increased activity that would come from that. Even though we have social media and other platforms to discuss baseball and all that jazz, I still believe there is a place for BS and other forums.
