I'm too familiar with 6.5 to move on. I'm attached

I'd hate starting over, though. I love the league's history.

I'm going to follow some walk through instructions on getting the hard drive and converting it to external. That's my first course of action.

Any discussion in here will pertain to how we proceed should I screw that up and not be able to access it.

should be as simple as putting it in an external casing, connect it via a usb and pull off the files.

Is 2005 the earliest we can go back to? I’d love to do the 90s if possible.

I just spent the past 3 seasons rebuilding and wouldn’t really look forward to spending a year real time doing it over again. I’d prefer to sim back to ‘73 than restart in 69

if nothing else, I have almanac files through 2070 on my current laptop and can finish updating the data in the history threads I've been falling behind on to that point.

if it cant be recovered, im all for re-starting in 2005.

or, if someone else doesnt wanna re-try to do everything with their team, ill swap franchises with someone, at whatever point it is that you choose to restart.

I am open to supporting an effort to take the laptop to a computer store and recover the files. Unless you've wiped and wrote over the drive, the files are there. They just need to be recovered. In the end, I'll get over it, but I really don't feel like starting over with a new league. This league has been around so long and a good part of my enjoyment is trying to do better with a new dynasty. Leo, if your gone on vacation, please consider dropping the laptop off with a professional while you are gone. If you can get an estimate over the phone, and connect via paypal with me, I'm open to paying all or at least a good portion of the cost to bring us online right where we are at. This probably is the least amount of work for you.
