Favorite MSL Player?

I think I'll go with a player named Chad Nason, who had only 8 contact but overachieved for several seasons as my lead-off hitter. He hit .378 for the season once.... I could never explain how his stats were so far above his ratings.

That reminds me of Johnny Allen who I also liked.

He was 10-2-10, but got as high as 10-4-10 with a talent boost before going back down to 10-2-10 again with a hit.

But in either case he was always very good for me even though he had absolutely no control.

It's fun how this can connect to the old memorable trades thread that's hanging out somewhere (cue thread spelunkers Leo and Mofo) as a lot of guys mentioned were in pretty notable deals. Machine Gun Garon basically led to the first dynasty of Atlanta and Tampa/KCs lengthy dynasty. Mack was a throw in. I traded for Chipper, then traded him away, then reaquired him...which further killed the franchise I run now lol but helped NYY win their first WS and my first WS as Boston (the Chipper Theory!).
