this league more than others, ive noticed you can have a couple good sims to start the year, and by the end of the year your talent/team will still end where it should be. i dont notice, too often at least, a zito-type situation where you have little to no talent on your team yet still end up with 90 wins.

then again, that doesnt matter, because he can make the playoffs with less than 80 wins anyway and still go to the alcs.

Well, the best start I've ever had in OOTP... Who cares though. I am ripshit over the popularity issue. I pick up Winship and Dawson in the scraps period. My popularity doesn't move. I release them and my popularity drops 9 points. Somebody tell me why?

The game doesn't add popularity when you pick them up in the scrap heap. I've tried that multiple times in just about every league. I even signed a 5/6 guy in TSSL and nothing.

I understand that. I just didn't think it would subtract popularity or I would have kept them. LOL Live and learn.
