The team that is being bombarded with complaints about free agency is beating the team that is laughing at an injury on a 2nd place team...
maybe if that gm spent more time worrying about his team instead of everyone's elses and the vetoing of tc trades...hed be able to, i dont know...win a world series.

The Padres were inexplicably in first until mid June last year (without Walter Johnson, no less) until the predictable slide took place.
As a side note on my team, I don't expect a repeat of that since my team is a bit more complete this year and Walter's not out for the year, but who knows what may happen if Ramirez and Cantu die off.
