    The Twins picked up a good starting pitcher (prospect) from the Nats. They sent Denard Span to Washington for Alex Meyer (6'9", 22 yo RHP). He throws hard and should be major-league ready in a couple of years.

    Low risk-high reward deal, IMO. If he's got anything left, he'll be a great addition. If he's done, it won't cost the Twins a lot to find out.
