The Twins don't seem to hit well against the Indians. These are the same guys that basically shut the team down in Cleveland. Mauer may not be available to play today or tomorrow, due to his "balky" knee, so a big bat is taken from the lineup. Hopefully the rest of the guys will pick him up.

The Twins did their job today, winning the game 9-3. Duensing pitched pretty well, but walked 4. Cuddyer and Valencia hit homers, Span hit another triple and Young doubled, and drove in 2 more. Duensing earned his 10th win of the year.

Twins won 9-3 tonight. Magic number is 3 games. With a loss tonight by the Soxs it will be two games. Soxs are losing 3-0 in the 8th inning.

What a great birthday game with some of my friends. Danny continues to hit the ball well at home and Cuddy had a monster game. Duensing also pitched OK and the bullpen was lights out. The magic number is now down to 2.

Question is Morneau done for the year and his career? I mean he has been out how long and there really has been no good progress in his recovery.

Right now we are losing 4-2 and the Whitesucks are losing 2-0 early in there game. This would decrease the magic # to just 1.
