Exactly. I'm stoked for next year. Cuddyer was out for 80 something games, and our starting rotation was a far cry from what it was in the beginning of the year.
This team is going to be very good in the future.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
The Twins will have quite a few decisions to make this off season. Among them is what to do with Dennys Reyes. He wants to come back, but is there room in the bullpen for him?
The team far exceeded expectations this season and has a lot of reasons to be very proud.

The game should have been played in Minnesota. We had the better record vs the Soxs. But you seen what happened.
Now on to the Twins.
Polad must spend money on this team. We need a hitter or two that can be a home run and rbi threat every time they are up to bat. NO power or lack of it is what hurt this team the most. When you CAN'T hit the ball you wont win games. Blackburn pitched his butt off and on a team that can hit would have won him the game.
Why will people show up at the new park? If we cant hit we sure as hell wont win games.

For your post about the Soxs handing us 2 of 3 wins, a win is a win correct?! Dont even use a damn excuse please. All we had to do is win 2 of 3 vs the Royals and your club would be sitting at home. I look forward to watching the Rays distroy your White Soxs..

Yeah, a coinflip to determine homefield happened, the same way homefield has been determined for one game playoffs for awhile now. Why ask special treatment for the Twins?
The "Soxs" (it's Sox) didn't hand the Twins those games, the umps did. In Game 2 of that series, Carlos Gomez was picked off at 2nd, Cabrera had the base blocked and tagged him, the ump called him safe. Gomez went on to score the winning run later in that inning. In Game 3, one of the Twins hitters hit a ball down the left field line. The ball was clearly foul. The ump called it fair, resulting in a run scoring. The Twins went on to tie the game in the 9th, and win it in extra innings by a run.

The Sox won the playoff game fair and square. Blackburn pitched well, but Danks pitched better. Thome hit one out when he got a chance to do so. 1 run should not have won the game. It was the only 1-0 game the Sox won all season. Neither team has anything to be ashamed of, and both have many things to look forward to next year and in years beyond. Alexi Ramirez looks like he will handle 2B for the Sox for a long time, and they have some good, fast outfielders around to replace the aging ones. Danks and Floyd appear to be for real and Buehrle has a couple of good years left in his arm.
