Hunter no longer a Twin?

When he walked off the field over the weekend the fans gave Torii a standing ovation! Torii tipped his cap to show the fans he still wants to be a Twin. Why is Polad so cheap not to sign one of the greatest Twins players of all time? It very well may be the fact the Johan Santana will be resigned. Johan was looking to buy a muti million dollar home on a private golf course in the Twin Cities. I will not post the name of the golf course. Yes Santana is a bigger piece to the Twins puzzle, but with the money we saved by moving the vets and I see Silva gone why not use that money and some other money to get Hunter signed?

I think the Twins will end up keeping Hunter. They will most likely trade Johan over the off-season, which will allow us to re-sign Hunter. But we can't wait too long otherwise he will file for FA when everyone else does.
