With McHale running everything from personnel decisions to babysitting, everyone else in the front office acts as McHale's puppets. Stack sounds awfully like the Empty Golf Shirt that Taylor keeps ripping on.

Since Steak isn't around to comment on this, I thought I'd throw this out again.

Something about "butt patting" in sports that I just don't dig. WHy not a pat on the back, or a high five. No, guys gotta do the ass-grab when someone does something good.

It's a real shame that the Twins aren't hitting a lick, they had their first month with an ERA below three in about 14 years assuming I read that correctly on ESPN. As a baseball fan, I'll be sad if seasons like Carlos Silva's and the whole Twins bullpen (not even mentioning Santana or Radke) goes all for naught, but it seems that way.

I gotta apologize for my lack of activity here the past couple of weeks. There are a few good reasons for it though. A couple of weeks ago, I had to go into the hospital for surgery. A couple of days after I was back and limping around, my wife ended up getting deathly ill and I had to rush her into ER one night. After about 8 hrs in ER, she ended up in ICU for a couple of days and was then in a "normal" hospital room for a couple of days beyond that. Of course, this happens just before school starts, so I had -that- job to get ready for as well, being getting the kids ready, paperwork filled out, clothes, lunches, etc as well as still working my job and running our business. On top of that, working on Admin duties on both the NFL board and the NBA board.

Needless to say, I've got a really full plate right now. So, I'm not ignoring the Twins board, but it's been shuffled to the far side of the plate recently. For that, I apologize.

Devil Rays second baseman Luis Rivas will miss at least four weeks with a broken right index finger. X-rays revealed the broken bone in his knuckle on Saturday.

Ouch. Not that this does much either way, Rivas isn't a big impact player with Castillo and Bartlett taking down starter's jobs up the middle, but Rivas is pretty much a nonfactor at this point.

Rivas is a NON FACTOR! He will not play even if he was healthy. Castillo is the starting 2nd baseman. Rivas can retire quit playing baseball all together he is a terrible player he was (IS) like ex twin Christian Guzman!

It's good to be back. It would be like the old times only if Steak posts here everyday, or having the times to post.

I will be here for a short time before headin' for Florida tomorrow. I won't be gone for long, so I'll be back shortly before April.
