Well folks, it's official: ESPN - Brewers fire Yost, promote 3B coach Sveum as interim manager - MLB
To be honest, wtf are they thinking with this timing? I guess either a) he had it coming for a while, or b) they're REALLY trying to send a message to the players in this slump.
I'm not really into many of the Brewers' happenings, but why?? I mean, they're in the middle of a playoff hunt!! This makes no sense to me. Maybe some other people can explain to me why they did this now and why it's good for the team to do now. If teams fired their manager every time they get swept in somewhat of a big spot, managers would be fired every other week. Makes no sense to me.
