Four blown saves and the Brewers have won three of those games. Mota looks like he can close.

Yeah, that is a possibility. They will stick with Gagne for awhile longer though. They are paying him too much $$$$ not to use him in that role.

Our pen has been used waaaaaaaaaay too much. They do need a rest. Unfortunately they won't get one anytime soon.

I was thinking the same thing today myself. Yost is over using the pen already and it is only April. Gallardo and Suppan are going to have to go deep with there pitch count

I really think the Brewers are going to be ok. They are carrying 14 pitchers right now and only 11 position players.

Yes, Gagne did put runners on first and third with 1 out, but he got Pujols to ground an 0-2 pitch into what SHOULD have been a game ending double play, so the blown save wasn't really his fault...blame Weeks for the bad throw

I agree with you browntown. That save was all but in the bag and mistakes happen.

Gagne got his 7th save of the year tonight against the Florida Marlins.

Well to be fair to Gagne, a couple of his blown saves were necessarily his fault. But he is up to 7 saves now and the season is getting ready to move into May, and hopefully warmer weather, he will just get stronger just like the bats.
