Hope for better results?

The Brewers announced today (10-3-07), that Ned Yost will be the manager in 2008.


That does not make me happy, but thinking positively, I hope he learned this year, and is better prepared and thinking ahead during the game of possible situations. Hope he does not get out-managed too much next year.

Yep same here but with every positive there is a negative.....PLEASE TAKE LINEBRINK BEFORE CORDERO...................This would take my year right down the tubes if they do get rid of Coco............Hard to PT on this one...

What is shaping up to be a weak free-agent market this winter won't help the Milwaukee Brewers in their quest to retain closer Francisco Cordero and set-up man Scott Linebrink.

With so few top-notch relievers available on the market, the value of Cordero and Linebrink will rise. That factor makes it unlikely they would re-sign without testing the market, where some clubs could greatly outbid the Brewers.

I would rather keep Cordero than Linebrink. I can't believe I just said that, but Cordero needs to get an attitude and let his ability do the work. He is a good closer comparing him to other team's closer.
