Bush's numbers are misleading IMO. Yost is spacing out during his starts this year. Bush is cruising along in his starts and Yost goes to sleep on him and when he wakes up, Bush is in trouble and no one ready to relieve him, plus absolutely no run suppost for this guy. We quickly forget he was the high man in wins for us last year. He will battle for us, just need to give him some runs as well. I mean crap, bases loaded in the first 2 innings with 1 out and NO outs and ZERO runs, unexcusable. And several other scoring chances and no results.
pititful--!!!!!!
your offense was the problem, not Bush. Bush actually pitched quite well considering how the cubs hammered him the first time around. bf19 is right, when you dont score with some of the situations they were involved with. (granted, there were some nice plays by the cubs defense, surprisingly)

CAN'T BELIEVE I AM DOING THIS, BUT I ACTUALLY AGREE WITH A CUBS FAN!! HAHAHA!!
GOOD GAME FOR YOUR TEAM TONIGHT ROCKIN500!!!
I also see it as being Yost's fault like you said. He makes good choices for everyone but Bush.
we really need to keep D. Bush thinking positive. And show him some graditude. He has been the tough luck pitcher on the staff so far the season.
To me it seems that Vargas and Bush can do 6 innings max. Suppan and Sheets and sometimes Cappy can do 7+
Living in IL, I do Not get to see many games on tv. But playing the Cubs, I usually do. ANd Vargas really did not impress me all that much. And it sems like he hits a wall like Bush too!
Vargas fell apart some, but Yost took him out when necessary...
Bush is 4-1 and like a 2.51 E.RA lately. I heard that on Baseball Tonight last night. He has been pitching well and his his stats are very misleading, thanks to yost!!!
See I'm right kinda. He retired just enough.
I agree with the cubbie fan on this one. Its the Offenses fault not bushes. And i still think that bush has got a few more years left in the tank. by the way is it just me or does bush look younger than last year?
uuummm... possibly looks younger. just want bush to continue giving quality starts. and i will take our chances with turnbow and cordero at the end. that goes for all the starters.
I think Bush just needed the relaxation. Suppan needs it right now so he can get his head back into the game and start with quality again.
suppan needs a week off and hopefully hell bge fine.
