I guess I will go with Rickie with the process of elimination theory. 1-5, 1 HR.


Bad game: Sheets get hurt (hopefully not serious), offense flat, and what a surpirse, Dessens stinks up the joint. Gets lucky, give up 5 runs and none of them earned. How lucky could he get, pitch like crap and actually have E.RA go down.

Oh well, on to Houston, lets keep shooting for 2 out of 3 wins.

Wasn't looking too good at first until Oswalt fell apart. The LOB number I believe was 7 but I could be wrong. Good job guys!

stats can be decieving though. Oswalt struggled, but battled right up til the Brewers finally broke through with runs. He gave up a double in the 1st to Hardy and had a lot of walks also. So, even though he hadn't give up any runs til the 6th, his pitch count climbed fast. The Brewers get HUGE cudos from me for hanging in their til they could get to Oswalt. ANd an EXTRA cudos to Cappy for hanging in there through 6 innings and only allowing that one run himself.

Vargas scared me a little on that one, but battled right through the bad stuff! 10 games at home. Let's make the most of it when they say "Home sweet home"!
