also, just hoping that the Pirates don't catch us in the standings....
they are just 5 games back of us now

hoping for a W tonight and a series win!!!
GO BREWERS GO!!!!!
that Villanueva continues to pitch like he did again tonight.... dump Ohka
hoping that the Brewers dont make so many dumb mistakes next year.. they always seem to bite you in the a**.
Yeah for me... one of my hopes finally comes true!!!!!! Brewers win and win the series 2 of 3 from Cards
hope the Brewers win 2 of 3 against the Giants... The Giants are probably my favorite teams after the Brewers ever since Will Clark played for them, but I have a hard time rooting for any team that has Bonds on it... I didnt like him as a player when he was with the Pirates. And that was long before any "steroid" scandals.
hoping Davis pitches great tonight!!!
so much for hoping again... davis down in the 1st already...
hoping his bad inning is behind him now
Hoping the Brewers can give some runs support for Capuano tomorrow.. But knowing Cappy's luck this year, they won't.. We've scored 22 runs in the first 2 games. So Cappy and Sheets let pitch lights out!
still hoping for a strong positive finish to build on for the following years
Man, I guess it does help to hope, pray, believe. I am glad that the Brewers are staying somewhat competitive to finish out the year.. I just hope next year their play in all phases of the game are more consistent (offense, defense, pitching, managing). They say a manager on average win and looses about 20% of the teams overall record... I believe that was the percentage I heard.
Hoping Sheets continues to pitch well. And maybe even get a win today.. I would love to see one of his dominating performances today... Like strikeout Bonds 5 times today, and shut the media up!!!!
You wanted to know the progress on Nelson Cruz, so here you go.
In 34 games with the Rangers he is batting .204 with 6 homeruns and 18 RBI. He is striking out a lot, 27 times in just over 100 AB's, but I guess that's to be expected with his kind of raw talent.
Nice to see Coco being an absolute beast for you guys. I just looked at his stats the other day and was amazed to see he has only allowed 1 run in 20+ innings. The Ranger pen hasn't been the same since he left.

Thanks again for the info. Cruz may be pressing some, or just getting adjusted to big league pitching, plus he isnt playing everyday either is he?
