Maybe the Omar Minaya Methodology will work for them. I wouldn't be totally stunned...

The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)
Homer: We're proud of you, boy.
Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
Baseball action underway! Pronk with a 2-run HR off Bonderman to kick things off.
Fausto Carmona is making his first start for the Tribe in this game.
Some good stuff in this inning. Paul Konerko hit a nasty breaking ball on the inside of the plate from Burnett and took it over the left-center wall for a HR to tie the game at 2. Absolutely muscled that one.

oh no!!! the Mets lost today...I guess they're no longer going to win 144 games
Tadahito Iguchi. Dude just made one of the best infield fielding plays I've ever seen right now in the 9th inning. Kind of stumbled a bit, lost his footing, and dove face-first into the ground at a 45 degree angle, and still is able to catch the groundball and make an airborne throw to first base to get the runner.
Yep Mets are playing good ball right now.
It's always nice to get the season off to a good start.
3 pitches, 3 homers in a row for the A's...Chavez, Thomas, and Bradley

great play by Iguchi, most 2nd basemen I think would do the smart thing, hold on to it and get up to throw it.
Molina was the base runner and he's the slowest runner in the whole MLB, if it was almost anyone else they could have beaten that throw, still a great play and effort on the part of Iguchi.
