    Al Mvp

It has become very clear to me after watching the Red Sox/ JAys game last night on ESPN who the MVP is. Chris Berman and Jeff Brantley were babbling about how if you took Ortiz out of the lineup, the Red Sox would be worse off than if the Yanks took Arod out of the lineup. Back the **** up guys!!! How is taking a one dimensional player out of an already powerful offense worse than taking out an all aroiund ballplayer. I have made the argument that Arod isn't even the MVP of his own team (which I still believe), but after hearing that bullshit argument its Arod. If you take a guy who can do all the things that Ortiz can plus play a good third base and run the bases out of a lineup, it would by far be worse than taking out a DH. These guys should be shot in the head for saying such bullshit. It is clear in my mind now that Arod is the MVP over Ortiz no matter of who gets in the playoffs. Vlad is worthy as well but simply don't think he will get it because he doesn't play in a big media town. Thank you Boomer and Brantley for making my mind up.

So was this supposed to be a poll, without the poll? Or just a one-sided ramble?
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

Anyone that voted for Ortiz is probably smiling today. Should be a funny acceptance speach if one is given by A-Rod.

Ortiz's team didn't even make the playoffs, which is always on the minds of voters. Rodriguez wins it deservedly.

At least Ortiz was bangin' the ball all over the yard in defeat.

Wait, what? Ortiz team made the playoffs. Sure, they got slapped around like a red socked stepchild, but they were in the playoffs.

Rodriguez should still win it based on stats, but I'm biased. Go Ortiz!
