Derek Lee is probably the most important player to his team. When he's hitting, the Cubs are a ton better. That could have changed lately since I haven't really been keeping up with the Cubs much since school started, but it was that way.

Gonna vote for Jones. He has been the veteran leading that young team.

That's another version of "his team sucks without him the most, so he's the MVP". I won't take away from Pujols because the Cards GM can actually put a team together.

My non-biased vote is Pujols. He is going to win it, anyways. But I do feel like a hypocrite not showing any love for Lee, since I was one of those people who was lobbying for A-Rod to get MVP when he was losing in Texas. Ah, well.

Again Pujols has had just as many teammates injured as Andruw. The fact that General put that Furcal and Giles have missed games is silly since they have missed only a few less than Jones.

Im sure if Jones has a hot finish and the Braves have a tight race he will win it b/c of the 'clutch' factor. Thats the way MVP's work in baseball all the time. Even though Pujols will put up the better numbers, his team pulling away will hurt him with the voters. Basically b/c Pujols is doing it with no pressure at this point, just like Griff. is doing with no pressure. Not saying its right way to vote, just the way it goes down.

Pujols has been doing it all year. Not his fault he plays in that shitty division.

Of course it isn't. Look at the past two Presidential elections.
