    Raul Mondesi going away to the pokey

    Former All-Star and National League Rookie of the Year Raul Mondesi was sentenced to eight years in prison and fined 60 million pesos for corruption and embezzlement of public funds while serving as mayor in the Dominican Republic, Hector Gomez of Deportivo Z 101 reports.
    How else can you be a mayor in a Latin American country if you can't lie, cheat, and steal? Very unfair!
