Outside of the score, I was pleased with many aspects of last night game. Archer pulled it together to keep the Rays in the game, would have been nice if the bats had shown up earlier. Stroman strong though, if it's not already that should be his new tag line.
Yes on Stroman... I read this morning he had the most swings at pitches out of the strike zone for his career.

Well, it sounds like an excuse, but the low, really too low to be called strikes were horrendous.....however.....they were called for both sides. Both team's slugger were chirping, Donaldson got shoved by Bautista before he could say something to get himself rung.
Stroman is legit. I wish that he didn't play for the Blue Jays or else I am sure he would be one of my favorites. He had a good second half of the season last year after returning from injury. It looks like he is poised for a good year.

Why is a manager of a first division sports team whining to the media about expectations of his team? I hate to think how he would handle being in a real baseball market like L.A., NY, or Boston.
Yeah, get one of the best pitchers in the game for mega-bucks and make a dumb trade for Miller... still stink it up. They might have a long, long season. Like a certain Arizona team I resemble somewhere.
