I don't care about bat flips.
If you don't want someone admiring their home run then don't give up a home run.

I'll be honest, Carlos Gomez' antics piss me off way more than Jose Bautista does. Mostly because Bautista has the bat to back up his antics. Carlos Gomez' is just an arrogant douche with no talent whatsoever.

Congratulations to the Royals!!! Whooooooooooooo.
FOSTER!!!!
Now the dilemma.....Price or Zobrist???
That was a nice shout-out to cynics about Monty Burns winning the 1997 Chevy Astro Van, because you notice how it's always the people in the Jew seats that *happen* to win the giveaway?
Yes?
I got up this morning still in shuck and awe and a little hung over.
So to get me going, I've watched the bottom of the 7th, had my coffee, and punched a hole in the wall.
Also, the fans, please don't judge all of us Jays fans based on the actions of a bunch of drunk T.O assholes.
Thanks. See you in the ALCS, and OMG THE ROYALS!!!
You think the Rangers series had emotion, just wait.
Dear Blue Jays, please bludgeon the cocky "we didn't actually win the WS last season despite acting like we did" Royals. Thank you.
Everyone loves to lie and say their stadium has never had one of "those" incidents, bull! I have been to quite a few displays over the decades in different parks, usually caused by those who don't attend regularly. I was at Angels Stadium on the eve of the 2002 strike when they were on their big run, they made those Jays fans look like saints.
BTW, why did you punch a wall , they won?
Everyone in sports conversation likes to paint fan bases with specific character personalities, specific levels of devotion and loyalty, and various other personal attributes. We even see it in official sports media.
That's all hogwash. When you take thousands of people who only share one thing in common it's ridiculous to try and assume they all share similar personality traits, especially when that one thing is something as trivial as what sports team they choose to root for.

The ump erred in throwing his hands up but it was a live ball per MLB rules and had the ump not erred there's no way they would have gotten the runner out anyway.
I do think it's a dumb rule, however. Intentional or not that leaves too much open to interpretation of intent, which is never a good thing."If a batter is standing in the batter's box and he or his bat is struck by the catcher's throw back to the pitcher (or throw in attempting to retire a runner) and, in the umpire's judgement, there is no intent on the part of the batter to interfere with the throw, the ball is alive and in play."

Thankfully, that didn't decide a game and series. Shoddy defense and a meatball did.
Yeah I agreed with the call, but what through me for a loop was the ump calling the play "dead".
I'll give props to Odor for running to home, knowing what was really happening.
And also props to Jose for taking advantage of all the E's.
