Also, I am a little salty that ESPN2 decided to cover the end of the Cuba/Puerto Rico game instead of going to the USA game. I don't care if Fidel Castro himself won the game for Cuba, ESPN and ESPN2 are U.S. cable stations and they should cover the USA game, no matter who's playing.

If you pressed "Channel Up" on your remote, you'd see that the USA-Canada game was on ESPN. And, when its in the 10th inning of a good game, I don't care if its Jesus vs. Lucifer and the Backstreet Boys, I want to watch exciting extra-inning baseball.

And another thing, how does South Africa have a team? I don't know of one player that plays in MLB or the minors that hails from South Africa. MLB should have a rule that says that no country that doesn't have a player currently in MLB or the minors will be allowed to field a team in the WBC. If there is a current MLBer or minor leaguer from a certain country (i.e. Cuba), then that country can field a team of whoever they want.
