    Hoping the Twins can take at least 2 games out of the first three.

    The key to the series is game 1. If the Twins play well and win game 1, the Twins should win the series. They need to get the "monkey" off their backs.

    They just need to win period! This team is good enough to beat the Yankees, now it's time to step up and beat them. We have been the Yankee's ***** for well far too long. Winning the games at home is a must for any chance on winning the series.

    Perfect scenerio. CC gets rocked in game 1 and is out by inning 3 and in comes AJ and all Yankee confidence goes down the drain.

    i dont know, are we allowed to do game threads? havent seen one yet, maybe people are just busy. but ill kill some time playing around with this one.

    yankees went 1-2-3 in the 1st... span singled, bunted over to 2nd by hudson, mauer k'd and then cano made a nice play on the other side of 2nd to put young away to get sabathia out of the 1st unscathed.

    arod flew out, cano grounded out so far in the 2nd... marcus thames up.

    curtis 1st pitch swinging... hard hit ground ball right to cuddyer, takes it to the bag himself. 5-6-7 for the twins in the 2nd... thome, cuddyer, kubel i believe.

    sabathia drills thome on a 1-2 count... came really up and in, but obviously on 1-2 hes not trying to hit him there. thome did give a look out to the mound.
