When Kenny Williams took the $60 million dollar man, essentially keeping the AL's best pitcher with his team (or skyrocketing Ricciardi's desired trade for him even higher), what was Ricciardi thinking?

Also, in a funny way, by floating Halladay, he brought more attention to both Rios and Rolen, both of whom were traded, giving the Blue Jays a lighter payroll entering 2010.
