I really don't see the argument.

I'm saving some of the thoughts for next weeks show.

Can't wait to bash them
It's not worth it. Yes, my analogy was QUITE different, but the point is the same. It's an assumption without evidence. You just don't seem to understand the difference between QUESTION and ASSUME. Haven't you ever heard that when you assume, you make an ASS of U and ME? Assuming is dumb, because literally, you can assume anything, doesn't make it true. I'm willing to question what Manny MAY have done in Boston, but it's just a waste of time to start with unsubstantiated assumptions.
pretty gullible and naive to think this is the first time for Manny at age 37. yea, I don't understand
They aren't unsubstantiated is the thing. We have evidence Manny cheated. With that evidence, I can assume he cheated in Boston as well because it was just last year. Can I prove it? No, never said I could.
He gets traded to LA last year and suddenly decides out of the blue that it would be a good idea to start using hCG to boost his testosterone levels back up? Just like that? Get real. Providence A's and reefer boy are bang on here.
I still say until there is concrete evidence, you cant 100% say that he did.

Fair enough.
And Shawne Merriman only used steroids once, in 2006.

Prov, I'm not refusing to acknowledge he might have, I'm just saying it's stupid to just assume he did. We can assume ANYONE did. The thing is, he had to have passed tests before, why did it JUST happen this Spring Training?
DK, it wasn't even last year. I was just THIS spring training. That says to me, that it is very possible that it could be a medical prescription that he was too stupid to check if it was fine with MLB standards.
It's not that I'm naive enough to say he didn't. He may have. I don't know what to believe anymore. But to just ASSUME he did, is stupid to me.

If he wanted women's fertility. He's in LA, for god's sake, get laid then.

wouldn't a doctor think to check? I mean, he or she obviously would know Manny is a baseball player. Boras made that shit up as that specific drug is used to cycle off...
He needed more than Viagra or Cialis to get laid, now that his balls are probably shriveled up. If this had happened in 2005, he'd be suspended for just 10 games, like Rafael Palmeiro did. Now, it's just a shitty deal to get caught with even just a masking agent.
Word is that Manny* is an emotional wreck.
On the day the Dodgers fell to 0-2 without Ramirez as the result of a 3-1 loss to the San Francisco Giants, Ramirez's agent had conversations with owner Frank McCourt and General Manager Ned Colletti, who were trying to persuade the disgraced All-Star outfielder to address his teammates, according to multiple sources familiar with the situation who weren't authorized to speak on the matter.
"Good luck," one Dodgers player said.
Ramirez was believed to still be in Los Angeles on Friday night, according to sources in the Dodgers organization and Ramirez's camp.
Sources said that agent Scott Boras believes Ramirez would benefit from speaking to his teammates but added that the player might not be emotionally prepared to be reunited with them.
Manager Joe Torre said he last spoke to Ramirez on Thursday, the day he was suspended for testing positive for human chorionic gonadotropin, or HCG, a female fertility drug that is taken by steroid users to restore testosterone production to normal levels.
Of Ramirez's state of mind, Torre said, "Right now, it's probably scrambled eggs."
Ramirez is said to be distraught enough that the subjects of where he would stay in shape or when he would address the media have not been seriously discussed.
