Now up, the latest installment of the largely popular and highly controversial power rankings. These power rankings take a higher percentage of what's happened in the first two weeks into account, although still rely on early predictions as a basis for determining the staying power of these teams. There are several cases of discontinuity from the first weeks rankings, a result of combining new factors and a very small sample size on which to base these rankings. Only win/loss factors are taken into account again, with no looks toward hitting, pitching, or defense. These will be combined at a later point, but the stats vary too much still. So, prepare yourselves with another batch of hate mail, and enjoy!
As a note, I apologize for the lack of explanations, but I had a Penguins game to watch, and a lot of studying to do.
