All star voting-stupid.
"Players can't get better over time." -GiantsFanatic
Roberts and Tejada.... As an O's fan, gotta love that... and they both deserve it... best at their respective positions so far this year... and Tejada is arguably the best at his position in baseball over the past couple to few years
I will reveal my votes on Friday. I will be voting on Thursday. I normally like to vote till the very end just so I can better be educated on these players.
I can tell you I ain't voting for Tino, Nomar, Barry Bonds, Mike Piazza, and Carlos Beltran for sure. General is right about the All-Star voting. It is really stupid. Fans vote for who they want to see which is their right hency why everyone has the right to vote, but you would think fans would vote based on who are deserving. I think most fans have abuse their privilege of voting All-Stars. Then again these same people have no clue who to vote for in politics so I should not expect them to do the same thing in voting All-Stars in sports.
c'mon Moraaaaaaaaa
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!
The 2074 MSL NL Gold Glove Recipient at Third Base.
Why in the ****..or
How in the **** does Frank Thomas and Jason Giambi get so many votes? Are people that lame?

I'm just glad that Tek is getting his due. That many Sox being Top 3 is embarassing, but Ortiz and Tek deserve it, and I'll take any Sox I can. The AL OF is so packed that I could see two Sox getting in or no Sox. Manny's still kept his power up and is getting hot overall and Damon's been fantastic.
I hope Teixeira takes over Tino, that's my only real hope for the AL. I can deal with the rest.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
In my fantasy ASG, the Sox that would make it would be
Varitek
Ramirez (although I have my doubts he deserves it)
Damon
Ortiz
Clement
Those are the 5 Sox who I would be happy with getting in.

Wow I know the Reds have been bad record wise, but we are second in runs scored in the NL behind the Cards and we have 1 guy in the top 5 at any position!!!
Reds who deserve to go:
Joe Randa
Felipe Lopez
Ryan Freel
Reds will probably get 1, personally I hope its Lopez, but I would love to see Randa and Lopez go.
Lopez leads the NL SS in HR, RBIs, and I think a few other offensive categories and only had 4 errors this year.
Randa's been a better version of the very solid and underrated 3b hes been for Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Kansas City and about time he got some spotlight.
The reason Freel wont was either front office's or Miley's decision to make a couple bad offers look good. He was "beat out" (sarc) for the starting 2b job by Jimenez and rode the pine for a while finally he starting getting into the games and got hurt now Miley seemed all but set about keeping Aurilia's "vet" bat in there over him and hes still recovering from what ive heard called turf toe.

Heres who I voted for. I voted for LaRue because I feel sorry for the human ball magnet getting beaned so often and not have a single pitcher even try to retaliate.

in my fantasy ASG, NO sox would make it because their fans cheat and stuff the ballots like a morbidly obese person at a buffet...seriously, Bill Mueller 2nd place for 3rd baseman? C'mon...whorrible, absolutely whorible....and Tek shouldn't make it to make up for him making it in 2003 when he didn't deserve it.Originally Posted by Fishercat

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
How is it cheating when MLB encourages fans to "vote early, vote often? It's cheap and I don't like it, but the MLB encourages such a thing.
I just put the Sox who deserve it, I'd love a Yankees/Sox v. AL for the right to play the NL though.

You're racist against Red Sox. Only one? Not even Tek who's beaten up Posada this year?Originally Posted by browntown653

I think you are going to be happy at who I voted for third base in the NL. Better yet, you are going to be pleased that I voted for three D-Backs in the ASG.Originally Posted by 777rak
